Australia: Geospatial services provider AAM has released its latest GEOCIRRUS offering, GEOCIRRUS MINE, which takes the next logical step in smart mining technology. MINE is the only web-based mining solution that completely eliminates the need for specialist GIS software while also enabling all mine personnel to share crucial information and mapping data instantaneously.

Improved project planning and site efficiency was the foremost goal in MINE‘s development; with its cloud-based, feature-rich interface, MINE delivers.  Users are able to manipulate complex GIS data, make and annotate their own maps, and execute tailor made workflows to fit the specific needs of each mine site.

MINES’s key advantage is its easy-to-use dashboard that eliminates the need for specialised training – saving companies thousands of man hours – while also allowing access to open source data to be seamlessly integrated with their own GIS data streams.

MINE also features a blast map generator that allows users to create and send a compliant blast map within a matter of minutes. GEOCIRRUS MINE is set to make its first appearance September 12th at the International Mine Surveying Congress (ISM2016) at booth 16.
