Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: 1Spatial, global specialists in spatial big data management, has launched 1Spatial Management Suite (1SMS) at the Asia Geospatial Forum 2013 in Malaysia. An innovative data management solution that enables users to efficiently plan, maintain and publish large amounts of spatial data, whilst automating production workflows.
1SMS links together 1Spatial’s powerful and scalable product portfolio, enabling users to rapidly respond to real-time scenarios and ensure their data is always current, accurate and trustworthy. It allows users to increase productivity and reduce operational costs and risks by adopting an automated approach to data management. The suite is underpinned by enterprise database and Service Oriented Architecture technology from industry leaders including Oracle.
“We are delighted to launch 1SMS, which supports all the key areas of the spatial data lifecycle,” said Marcus Hanke, CEO, 1Spatial. “Organisations ranging from national mapping and cadastral agencies, government, utilities, defence, logistics and transport companies are looking for faster, more efficient ways to manage spatial big data in a cost effective way, whilst boosting productivity.” 1SMS manages the end to end process of planning, maintaining and publishing data and ensures it is safe, accurate and always in a validated and publishable state, he added.
1SMS can be utilised as an entire suite of products which interact together, or as standalone products that can integrate and plug in with an organisations current infrastructure. The suite is made up of 4 main product families which represent the main phases in the data lifecycle.
Earlier this year 1Spatial launched the first product from 1SMS, 1Edit, a revolutionary touch screen solution to manage real world spatial data editing and capture.
