Small Satellite Missions for Scientific and Technological Advancement

The United Nations / South Africa Symposium on Basic Space Technology on the theme "Small satellite missions for scientific and technological advancement" will be held at the University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa, from 1 to 4 September 2015. 

The Symposium has been endorsed by the United Nations General Assembly as one of the activities of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications under the Basic Space Technology Initiative (BSTI) in 2015 (see http://www.unoosa.org/oosa/en/SAP/sched/index.html) and is organized by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology and the University of Cape Town, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of South Africa.
