Watch NASA astronauts getting captured on camera with total solar eclipse

August 21 2017 witnessed a rare event, the total solar eclipse, and Joel Kowsky, a photo editor at NASA captured once-in-a-lifetime sight of the same. Along with capturing the different phases of the eclipse beautifully, he also brought International Space Station, with a crew of six onboard, closer to us. His photographs on the event of the solar eclipse show silhouette of NASA astronauts-Peggy Whitson, Jack Fischer, and Randy Bresnik, Russian cosmonauts Fyodor Yurchikhin and Sergey Ryazanskiy, and ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Paolo Nespoli who are onboard as part of Expedition 52.

Kowsky also recorded a video of the eclipse using a high-speed camera that can record 1,500 frames a second.

Kowsky must have planned this event for months so as to capture such a fast-moving object from the right angle, and surely he was in great luck on Monday! We owe this to him!
