UNWGIC to showcase state-of-the-art technologies, products and applications

The United Nations has been working incessantly towards making geospatial technology a true enabler of sustainable development. Taking its efforts a step further, it is organizing the United Nations World Geospatial Information Congress (UNWGIC) with the support of the Government of China through the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Zhejiang Provincial Government, in Deqing, Zhejiang Province, China from 19-21 November 2018.

As an important part of the UNWGIC, the Geospatial Technology and Application Exhibition will be organized from 19-23 November 2018 at the Deqing International Exhibition Center. It will showcase the state-of-the-art technologies, products and application solutions from the worldleading companies, academic and research institutions, as well as other related organizations from across the globe.

Exhibition Themes

The Geospatial Technology and Application Exhibition will focus on four major areas: 1) Intelligent Equipment, 2) Smart Applications, 3) Location-Based Services, and 4) Future Life.

Interested organizations are kindly invited to complete and submit the Exhibition Application Form to the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the UNWGIC by email at [email protected] The LOC for the UNWGIC will review all the applications and inform if your organization is accepted as an exhibitor by 31 October 2018.

  • 30 September 2018, due date for application submission
  • October 2018, applications review and results notice
  • 6-15 November 2018, exhibition set-up
  • 19-23 November 2018, exhibition

UNWGIC, with the help of a rich confluence of exhibitors, exhibiting interesting and diverse applications, looks forward to presenting to the world a wonderful chapter of geospatial technology and information management, and make everyone aware how the technology can be effectively used to bring in sustainable development in action.
