1What is Digital Twin? How does it work?
What is digital twin? A digital twin refers to a virtual model of a process, product or service. It is a bridge between the physical and digital world. This pairing of the virtual and physical worlds allows analysis of data and monitoring of systems to identify problems before they even occur, prevent downtime, develop new opportunities and even plan for the future by using simulations. 4NASA video shows Greenland ice cover could completely disappear
Greenland’s melting ice sheet could generate more sea level rise than previously thought if greenhouse gas emissions continue to increase and warm the atmosphere at their current rate, according to a new modeling study. The study, which used data from NASA’s Operation IceBridge airborne campaign. By Mukesh Sharma
5What is Spatial Resolution in Remote Sensing?
Spatial Resolution describes how much detail in a photographic image is visible to the human eye. The ability to “resolve,” or separate, small details is one way of describing what we call spatial resolution. By Mukesh Sharma
6What are the 7 benefits of BIM (Building Information Modeling)
7What are the major geospatial technology trends for 2019
As we move closer to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, new trends in geospatial technologies are expected to impact multiple sectors and foster path-breaking innovation. In 2019, new trends in geospatial technology would have an impact on multiple sectors. By Pradeep Rawat
8HD maps video: HD maps for self-driving cars
The maps that are particularly built for self-driving purposes are usually called High Definition Maps or HD Maps for short. These maps specifically have extremely high precision at centimeter-level. By Pradeep Rawat
9SpaceX’s Crew Dragon Mission Launch and Landing
SpaceX launched Crew Dragon’s first demonstration mission from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This test flight without crew on board the spacecraft is intended to demonstrate SpaceX’s capabilities to safely and reliably fly astronauts to and from the International Space Station as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.
10Chennai water crisis: Satellite imagery shows drying up lakes and water bodies
