- More Technical Papers Please!
- Thank you very much for the complimentary copy of the magazine [email protected] I am happy to note that your organisation has taken initiative in launching this commendable endeavour, and I congratulate you and other members of your team in bringing out a quality magazine on GIS. May I suggest that you should make efforts to include more informative technical paper in your magazine? The section covering news about recent developments in GIS is very comprehensive, and the ‘Pokharan 98’ article is praise-worthy. I have recommended this magazine for our library here. I am enclosing a copy of a short paper on ‘The GPS Data Processing for Seismic Hazard Assessment’, for publication in your magazine. I am also happy to note that you are organising ‘Map India 98’ Conference in October 98. I am enclosing an Abstract on ‘The GPS Reference Datum and its relationship with the Indian Geodetic Datum’, for presentation in the Conference. Please send me further information on the Conference. Looking forward to enhancing our interaction,

- Thank you very much for sending me a copy of the latest [email protected] It gives me pleasure to know lot of information in the GIS field. But, I agree with one of the readers that gives news like Newspaper. You may think of adding technical notes about GIS in the premier organisations likeSurvey of India, NRSA, NATMO, RGI, National Hydrography regarding data availability, price of the product, training facilities available etc. Do you plan for Life Membership? That will help getting more members enrolled. You may consider this. Please forward one copy of the journal to Dr. M. Vijayanunni, Registrar General, India, 2A Mansingh Road, New Delhi – 110011 requesting him for the organisational membership.
