The emergence of viral diseases transmitted or no by vectors are nowadays a central health problem in this modern world, or more appropriately in this global village which is the modern world. Problem and situations which are becoming very critical in developing countries, where the health systems are not enough developed to face the bursting of such diseases. The research program lead by the AIT, the IRD and the RCEVD is intended to tackle this question in the very meaning of the emergence, taking it as a result of the inter-actions and inter-relations in the dynamic behaviours of the physical, geographical, social, economical and demographical environments. In such respect, a central place is given to methodological researches in the use of space technologies, remote sensing and GIS, database and data mining. This presentation is intended to describe the framework of such research and development, introducing issues in space technology, methodology and science against the emerging viral diseases.
