In this paper Hyperion hyperspectral imager onboard the EO-1 platform data from agricultural area in Iran,Ahmadabad has been used. The sensor’s 242 Spectral band between 400 and 2500 nm (level 1B1) and spatial resolution of 30m bear the potential for agricultural crop discrimination and land use classification. Atmospheric correction on the hyperspectral imagery was first performed using a commercial package. In some agricultural area there are types of crops with similar in reflectance spectral in multispectral image which can not be discriminated. Classification using the pixel unmixing method performed on the hyperion data. The results of classification were compared with existing land cover maps.
